This is a hands on class focused on application and not just information. Don't confuse
our program with those with less than half of the contact hours, we just don't believe it can
be done that fast. Our focus is on developing your skills so that you can perform the
fundamental tasks that drive human resources.
HR Synergy's generalist course guides you through the dynamics and practice of applied HR management. It is designed for those with less than two years experience in HR, new graduates, or those previously limited to a narrow area of HR. If you are aspiring to enter the human resource field, an entry level HR professional or a newly appointed HR manager, this course provides the tools and skills you will need to succeed.
The course meets twice a week for four weeks, three hours each night beginning April 28, 2008. The course is comprised of instructionally intense, highly interactive programs. Each provides an overview of accepted human resource practices as well as practice sessions that will allow you to learn through "hands on" application of these practices.
We will also be introducing our students to many new and exciting uses of the internet at work. Our course requires computer literacy and the ability to effectively use the internet.
